How HGTV’s Home Town Took an Empty, Dark Space and Made it Light and Lovely
Have you ever walked into a home, only to wonder how on earth the homeowners could actually live there? How can anyone live in such an empty, uninspiring space? Well, HGTV’s Home Town has been working to change that idea and make it cool to live in beautifully decorated homes with personality and originality that reflect the personalities of their owners.
What does it look like?
The space looks dark and empty, with few personal touches. The colors are drab and there is little light. After the makeover, the space is bright and airy. The colors are light and inviting, and there is plenty of light. The space feels warm and welcoming, like a home should.
What does it cost?
HGTV’s Home Town is one of the most popular home renovation shows on television. The show features husband and wife team Ben and Erin Napier as they renovate homes in their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. The homes they work on are typically in disrepair and in need of a major makeover.
While the cost of the materials to renovate a home can be expensive, the real cost of the show is in the time and labor that goes into each project.
The interior
The inside of the house is just as lovely as the outside. With warm wood floors and big windows, it feels light and airy. The kitchen is my favorite space; it has a beautiful farmhouse sink and tons of counter space. I can imagine spending hours in here cooking and entertaining.
Here’s the full house tour
The full house tour starts in the living room, which is bright and airy thanks to the large windows. The sofa is upholstered in a light blue fabric, and there are pops of color throughout the room in the form of pillows and throw blankets. The coffee table is made from reclaimed wood, and there’s a ladder leaning against one wall that leads up to a loft space.
Are there features inside you’ll recognize?
HGTV’s Home Town is set in the small town of Laurel, Mississippi. The show follows Ben and Erin Napier as they renovate historic homes in the area. In this particular episode, the couple is working on a home that was built in the early 1900s. The before shots of the house show a dark, empty space with little personality. However, after the Napiers’ work is complete, the house is filled with light and character.
The house also doubles as a home cinema
Before HGTV’s Home Town came along, the city of Cambridge was known for its dark, dreary skyline. But thanks to the show, the city has been filled with light and personality. The show features beautiful homes with expansive views of the skyline, as well as charming personalities that make the city come alive. It’s no wonder that Cambridge has become one of the most popular places to live in recent years.
